Boulder Mountain Avalanche Accident
Family and colleagues of Zac’s Tracs forward our prayers to the many riders and families that are still trying to process everything that happened last March. We can’t begin to imagine the physical and emotional healing that will be necessary for many people connected to this huge accident.
The Canadian Avalanche Center has released a preliminary report regarding the avalanche that took place in Revelstoke, BC on March 13, 2010 during an informal snowmobile gathering known as the ‘Big Iron Shootout’.
“Information about exactly what happened is still incomplete and some of what the CAC has been told is unsubstantiated. With the current resources and information available at the CAC has compiled these details about the slope and avalanche itself.”
